How To Ignite Your Love Fire and Keep It HOT!

You may or may not know these articles are part of my “Learning Key Series”. Learning Keys are my way of wanting you to have a heartfelt learning experience as you are reading. Every time there is a (k) symbol in front of a sentence that is your indication, there is an intention for you to take action or to feel a point that may be relative to your inner growth.
You may recall in my last article I mentioned that I had not been in a relationship for many years. I was very unsure about how to even approach showing I was available for a relationship. I was more than nervous about how to engage or initiate my interest. Then I did what I do…seek knowledge. I went to people who I thought may have my best interest at heart and said “Help!” Well this process began to shore up my new found confidence. However, what I did not know was that I was already in love and certainly, I did not want that to be the first thing gushing out of me with a total stranger. Again, I did not realize I was already head over heels in love. Since I was already there, in retrospect, it actually took me all the way up until today, to see that he was equally committed to me.
Hindsight is clearly 20-20. For the moment let’s go back to my feelings racing like a speeding freight train that was clearly traveling back to the future. As I was gathering all my relationship “how to” from my many sources; I eventually moved forward with some of that wonderful and practical input. Now I had crossed the scariest hurdle and my future was looking brighter. When I began to catch a glimpse of my reality, I was still unable to explain to anyone or me actually, that I had met my soul mate. Meanwhile almost all of my well-meaning family, friends and associates kept giving me well intended relationship advice and that is when it hit me. I do not want a relationship. I want a Lovationship. That is when my quest for knowledge changed. Where was I going to get advice in modern times on how to make love work? That question gave birth to LOVATIONSHIPS and me seeking different advice.
I would like to give the men that are in wonderful loving partnerships a voice to express themselves about their Lovationship. We believe they do not get this opportunity enough. Therefore, I would like to shine the light on them at OnStage as our Real Men Lovationship Guru’s. I hope everyone reading will gain positive insight on How to Ignite Your Love Fire and Keep It Hot.
I believe this is where a lot of the confusion exists. Men tend to take their lead from women. Primarily their Moms, and caregivers, then secondly from signals they receive from the women they are in contact with. Women on the other hand say it is too hard to get into men’s heads to figure out what is going on. Men on the other hand say women send out mixed messages. I discovered something most interesting in conversation with one of our Lovationship Gurus. He said that he believed all men want the same things; the basic inner values, (that we are about to show you a little further down in the article), even though they may not express it the same way. I told him that based on my interviews thus far he is right on the mark. However, I said to him I do not think women are looking at it from that vantage point most of the time.
I think that women tend to believe that what men really want is on the outside of them. Therefore, they will spend time and money to look a certain glamorous way, act the way they think men want them to act. Additionally, women are driven to think that sex is the primary and only factor on a man’s mind and agenda. Our LG (Lovationship Guru) said that I was more right than wrong about men acting as thought this is the key factor. He says men’s behavior is driven by what they perceive is expected of them, not only by women but by their male counterparts as well. Well there we have it. The first key in what keeps the Lovationship HOT! If you read my first article, you may have heard this before. The Greatest Love of All Is To Be True To You.
(K) Take a deep breath and count to three, exhale. Stop reading after this sentence for a moment, take another deep breath, exhale and reflect on the music that is YOUR inner beauty, YOUR truth, YOUR uniqueness, the things that no one can duplicate and enjoy the music, dance to those lyrics.
Let us (as always) take a look inside and see what YOUR inner beauty is offering in your Lovationship. This is the integral part, the foundation, the heart of a Lovationship. It is the Truth of YOU, it is the center of YOU; the part that will not change with the fashion trend, or whatever attitude is chic at the time, or the latest relationship “how to” or wherever the Jones’ lifestyle is moving next.
