Welcome new #FashionFridays readers, and it’s always a pleasure, returning readers. After interviewing the Soul Garage Band Black Alley in the previous Fashion Fridays, it inspired the Fashion Fridays lesson of the week.

Every stylist in the fashion industry has a team. For Fashion Fridays sake, the stylist (you) has a client (your destiny). Although you have the vision, you have to assemble a team to assist you during certain points so that the final product is immaculate. There is no person on this planet that can accomplish any major goal without a team. Not saying you have to depend on people, but there are people in your life such as family, friends, co-workers and associates that assist you along the way.
Now the fashion industry is very cut throat, so there are some people on the team initially who won’t be on the team to see the final product (people in your life for a season). As time progresses, the team will be polished and established. Everyone knows their role on your team and executes accordingly.
I’ve conducted a survey of 5 people to find out what they believe make up the qualities of a strong team. Check out these awesome responses!The Question: What are 3 essential elements needed to have a strong team?

“The ability to be humble: allowing your business partner(s) to teach you (or vice versa) which is a reminder of why you are working with others in the first place. “If you are the leader, your team has to be willing to follow. Establishing roles is key so no one person steps on the toes of another teammate. Dedication and loyalty are essential. When you style your team right in life, it helps create a better you. The people you surround yourself with reflect the type of person you are.
As stated, team members consist of family, friends, or co-workers, thus I wanted to shine the light on a few of my team members. Here is the cast of The Olivia Fox Show (l-r Allie , Olivia Fox, Myself & Cristina Payne). These ladies are phenomenal and we work amazingly as a team.
As cliché as it may sound, “team work makes the dream work”.
