Our Advantage: Thousands of live music fans are disappointed each week over missing concerts they would love to attend. There are a number of underlying reasons; ticket availability, ticket cost, concert location, not wanting to attend alone, or simply not being aware of the date and time of the show. The web and live concert streaming have brought meaningful mitigation to each of these reasons. The next best thing to being at a concert you’d really love to attend is still being able to see it.
Continued advances in streaming technology now allow the same high quality interactive feed from a concert venue that is the norm for business meetings, movies, church services, and sports events. An array of music focused companies and websites have carved out a foothold in this space, and are dramatically reshaping the business of live performances. But the question of how best to monetize these offerings is still in flux. OnStage merges content marketing with social marketing to maximize the potential for profitable pay-per-view offerings.
History: The Company has focused its efforts on building a strong brand in Washington DC and the surrounding area through development of its website and by establishing a presence on social networks. This has allowed us to open lines of communication with and have access to promoters, artists, music blogs, and video producers and importantly to develop a core of potential customers. OnStage debuted its streaming capabilities in August 2011 by webcasting a segment of a concert from the New Deal Café in Greenbelt, Maryland. OnStage partners have been in active discussions with artists and venues on the potential for working together in the immediate future.
