Its Fridayyyyyy!!!

Spring has begun and we have had some great interviews thus far. As much as I love having a new interview for you guys every week, occasionally I like my alone time with my Fashion Fridays readers.

One of the previous Fashion Fridays articles encouraged us to stop worrying about the outer appearance and dress up the inner you.  For this week’s Fashion Fridays, I want to talk about styling The Earth.

As some of my readers may know, Monday, April 22, 2013 was Earth Day.   It is a day where people around the world celebrate our planet with some form of eco-friendly activity.

In my personal opinion, we as humans do not take care of our planet as much as we should.  We should treat our planet like we treat our body.  We don’t dress up in trash, so why do we style our earth with pollution?  When we pollute our planet, the karma comes back to us.  We are so confused when its 70 degrees in January, then April comes and the weather refuses to even hit 73 degrees on a regular basis.  Not only does pollution cause problems with styling our planet, but stripping it of certain raw materials can cause issues as well.   Damages that we cause within our environment disrupt the equilibrium of our planet. Earth Day is a way to help create awareness and allows us to help give our planet a little make over considering the damage we’ve done.  Although this is a great day to celebrate, Earth Day is just one day. It will definitely take more than that to fix all of the issues we’ve caused within our planet.  Wanting to restore our environment should be an everyday project for myself as well as my Fashion Friday readers.

There are several waysall of us can help support the “go-green” movement. Not only should we style our planet better but when it comes to dressing ourselves, there are so many eco-friendly stylish clothing lines.  There are several designers such as EcoCouture,  Smart Glass Jewelry, and Rags2Riches that develop lines to cater to people who care about the environment they live in.  I encourage my readers to look into these lines.

We should appreciate the planet that we live on.  Here at Fashion Fridays, we celebrate Earth Day everyday.

Considering organic clothing is a tad bit more expensive, H & M is a great inexpensive place to shop for stylish organic clothing as well.

Whether its recycling, helping rebuild a neighborhood, or even purchasing organic clothing, it all helps. We want our bodies to feel and look great, and we should want our planet to look and feel the same way. Go out there and be one of the world’s greatest stylists!

Until Next Week .
